Grandma's Brag Book

Never, ever ask a grandmother to see more pictures of her baby unless you really, really mean it.

I've had several requests lately, so I've spent the morning trying to figure out how to post one of our family albums on here. If you are incredibly bored, feel free to click...but I must warn you they are not photoshopped, re-touched, or edited with a very discerning eye. It's just us, being us.

They are in more or less chronological order, from about early October until now. (And there are way too many.)

Someone let me know if it worked, please!

blessings, kim

It worked! You are such a blessing to help take care of that precious, precious little boy!! He is beautiful, probably because of his BEAUTIFUL parents! I check your blog daily. I love to read updates and have never ceased in praying for all of you.

Kim,

I've been reading your blog ever since you first started it, and I've decided to post a comment finally! I started praying for Katherine and becoming "involved" in your lives back in April when my husband's friends who know Katherine from the Bel Air Pres Young Marrieds group invited me to join a Facebook Group for Katherine (funny how these connections happen). Since then, I have kept up on the updates and read your beautiful, real, and heart-wrenching thoughts. I've rejoiced as God has done amazing miracles and cried as I read different postings. Thank you for sharing your lives with the world. It's changed me.

My husband is the CEO and cofounder of an online photo book company [www.mixbook.com] and I would just love to invite you to make a photo book of all your precious pictures -- our treat! You can even connect it to Picasa and transfer over all your pictures really easily - a real brag book that you can carry around in your purse! Just send me an email and I can "hook you up" with a free book...please, it would bless me so much to be able to bless you in a small, small way. :)

Mrs. Arnold,
This album was adorable! I showed it to my brother and my parents! I especially loved the picture with the Ugg boots!
Your family has been such an encouragement to me! I know you are going through a really difficult time, but just know that you are well covered in prayers.
God bless!
Callie

I wanted to let you know I gave your blog link to a friend (well, it's a friend of my best friend's...I consider her a "blog friend"!)...she's putting links of families that need prayer on her blog and she has SOO many people that follow her blog, so I just know there will be many prayers lifted up for Katherine's continued healing. Here's the link to her blog, so you can see for yourself :)

I loved looking at your pictures!!! I hope James isn't too traumatized by Maeve....those pictures were too precious, it's obvious he's going to be a lady's man!! You are amazing and you are blessed with a precious family! We are still thinking about y'all.

It's a little bizarre to me that I enjoyed all your pictures, because it is like seeing my own family. Prayer has made me close to you. Thanks for making the effort to show us your lives. God is good.

Mrs Arnold,
I was a ZTA with Katherine and have been praying for all of you since April. You are such a wonderful story teller and so eloquent with your words. Would you ever consider talking to a church group when you are back in the South? I would love to have you come talk to a women's group at my church. This is the only way I know to communicate with you, but if you feel like you would like to share your story please let me know the best way to get in touch and we can talk details! Kim,
You do, indeed, have lots of reasons to brag. James is precious and we look forward to seeing him on his next visit to Athens. Charlotte is pretty cute, too, and her disposition is sugar-sweet. Have been going down memory lane with old pictures recently and the ones of Katherine and Christine as sidekicks brought back lots of great memories.

We are so proud of Katherine. Her updates, especially since Christmas, have been so hopefilled. It blesses us all to see her courage and excitement about what this year will bring.
Love to all,
Linda
